Would you like to learn art from the comfort of your own home? Here's the place to do it! Artist Alex Remy is now offering online lessons geared towards artists of all skill levels. Whether you'd like to take private lessons or multi-week online workshops, here you can build both your technical skills and creativity. Best of all, you can complete the lessons any time of day, and any place you'd like--the choice is yours.
To participate in online classes, you'll need 1) internet access and 2) a scanner or camera to upload pictures of your work. Click "Catalog" at the top of this page to read about available classes.
If you'd like to view the online classroom at any time, please click "Classroom", and you'll be redirected. The online classroom is a message board divided into three sections: community forums, workshops, and private lessons. Community forums are open to anyone, whether they are taking lessons or not. Additionally, registered users have access to several interactive tools, including an arcade, chatroom, galleries, map, and built-in radio. To learn more, click here.
When students finish a project, they have the option to submit a photo of it to the student gallery. It's a great opportunity for students to share their work with others, including other students, family, and friends. To see completed student work, please click the "Gallery" tab. At times, student work will also be selected to be featured on http://artblog.alexremy.com.
